Beautiful as Cleopatra with Zeolite

In this article, we want to highlight the effects of zeolite on skin and hair. Why does a face mask work for acne? Why does the skin look fresher afterwards? Can zeolite boost hair growth?

Read to the end to get an overview of all possible applications. Enjoy!

When one thinks of Cleopatra, one probably thinks of the milk baths she supposedly took to achieve soft and well-cared-for skin. But did you know that milk was not her only beauty product? Therefore, we will now reveal the "magic remedy" she also used to maintain her beauty: zeolite. Professor Dr. Karl Hecht never tired of emphasizing this. Do you want to be as beautiful as Cleopatra? Of course!

How can zeolite now be used for the beauty of the skin?

Zeolite is not a magic remedy. But when you consider the many great properties that zeolite has, you could almost believe in magic. AND: For zeolite to truly unleash all its magic, it must be tribomechanically pulverized. Do not use crushed zeolite (conventionally ground) and no powder that is too coarse. 8 microns (micrometers or µm) are perfect. At this fineness, the powder can penetrate well into the skin layers. If it is too coarse, it will trickle off and not reach the areas where it should work.

Let's first go back to zeolite and its special history of origin.
Zeolite is a mineral of volcanic origin: millions of years ago, lava erupted to the surface (volcanic eruption) and then solidified in water. This explains the structure of zeolite molecules. Water was trapped and then evaporated. This created sponge-like structures with the energy of primeval water. And the main component is silicon. The second most abundant element on Earth.

How does zeolite work on the skin?

This means that zeolite is able to bind toxic substances that burden the skin and trigger various reactions, heavy metals, and the body's own pollutants, thus neutralizing them.

And at the same time, this ion exchange releases silicon and other minerals that are important for beauty and skin well-being. It remineralizes our skin.
Here we provide you with some ideas that can not only benefit the beauty of your skin, but especially your well-being. Zeolite carries the energy of primal nature and renewal. It was also known in ancient Egypt as a cosmetic and rejuvenating agent. Not only Cleopatra maintained her beauty with silicates.

The Science Behind Beauty

The secret lies in zeolite's microporous structure. With a particle size of only 8 micrometers – specifically optimized for cosmetic applications – zeolite can penetrate deep into the skin pores and unfold its cleansing effect there. This fineness is crucial: coarser particles would injure the delicate facial skin.

Natural Mineral Supply

Zeolite contains over 30 different trace elements that nourish your skin and hair. Silicon strengthens connective tissue and provides elasticity, while calcium stabilizes the skin barrier. These minerals are present in a form that your skin can optimally absorb – completely without synthetic additives.

Skin Detoxification

Through the so-called ion exchange, zeolite acts like a magnet for pollutants. The negatively charged pores of the zeolite attract positively charged toxins, heavy metals, and impurities from your skin. At the same time, zeolite releases valuable minerals such as silicon, calcium, and magnesium to your skin – a natural exchange process that strengthens your skin from the inside out.

So how about a beneficial wellness day in your home bathroom?
Light a candle, put on some relaxing music or even a relaxation audio, and enjoy the vitalizing effect on body and mind.

Zeolite as a Bath Additive

This is probably the easiest application of zeolite, which can not only benefit body parts but also the entire body and soul at the same time.

Add a little zeolite to your running bathwater, which should not exceed 38°C. If you like, you can also add some milk of your choice (animal or plant-based), a few blossoms for the eye, and enjoy your Cleopatra moment. The zeolite works during this time, doing what it is famous for: it absorbs toxins from your skin and releases strengthening silicon. Afterwards, you will be delighted with a well-cared for and clean feeling. Not to mention the relaxation. The water becomes softer due to the zeolite powder.

Detox baths, or more modern: detox baths, or a little more old-fashioned: alkaline baths, have always been used as a preventive measure. And for special occasions such as the preparation and detoxification rituals before or during the Twelve Holy Nights.

Face Toner with Zeolite

If you have a favorite toner, add half a teaspoon of zeolite to it. This will essentially dissolve, or rather, distribute itself throughout the toner, ensuring that your facial skin is freed not only from toxins but also from excess sebum. This helps keep your face mattified for longer. In addition, the silicon also makes your skin beautifully soft again. You feed your skin with minerals and at the same time it helps with clogged pores.

Zeolite in Daily Skincare

Stir half a teaspoon of zeolite into your favorite daily moisturizer and enjoy the cleansing, mattifying, and simultaneously nourishing effect of zeolite. Depending on the cream you have chosen, zeolite can ideally complement its effects or enhance its properties. For skin that tends to be oily, a gel-cream or moisturizing lotion is more suitable, and the stirred-in zeolite will not only regulate sebum production but also absorb it. This way, you kill two birds with one stone.

Extra tip: Of course, you can also enrich your body cream with zeolite. This helps with itchy skin. And you can rub it well into your elbows or knees. The skin there is sometimes rougher and can greatly appreciate care enriched with zeolite.

Peeling with Zeolite

Zeolite is also wonderful for a gentle but effective peeling. For a quick peeling, simply mix one tablespoon of zeolite powder with a little jojoba oil until a creamy paste is formed, and add a little matcha powder if desired, which provides many antioxidants and is as fine as zeolite. Rub the paste onto your damp face, rinse everything off with lukewarm water, and enjoy your fresh, soft, and well-groomed skin, which is thoroughly cleansed by the zeolite. This way, you effectively prevent impurities and remove any environmental dirt. Your skin is particularly well prepared for subsequent care. If you prefer your body scrub a little coarser, feel free to add some fine sea salt. This removes all superfluous flakes and makes your skin soft. Rub a little longer over your knees, elbows, and all areas you want to be soft.

The result is not only smoother skin and a good skin feeling. You will see how you feel clearer and fresher. Zeolite absorbs heavy metals and pollutants and stimulates the skin's self-regulation. Professor Hecht always emphasized this. The skin is the largest detoxification organ. Let's support it.

Face Mask with Zeolite

That's far from all. Zeolite is incredibly versatile when it comes to using it for beauty and wellness. Because what shouldn't be missing from a beauty routine? That's right: face masks.

Either you simply stir 1 teaspoon of zeolite into your existing face mask to enhance its detoxifying and therefore beautifying effect, or you mix a fresh mask with simple household ingredients. Then you'll also know exactly what's in it.

Take 1-2 tablespoons of yogurt and add 1 teaspoon of zeolite and 1 teaspoon of honey, and you already have a wonderfully nourishing mask. The yogurt cools and contains calcium, the honey is anti-inflammatory, and zeolite absorbs dirt, heavy metals from environmental pollution, and releases silicon. This mask is therefore great for irritated or impure skin. Also great in summer for sunburn: stir in some aloe vera gel as well. This mask is washed off with lukewarm water after 15 minutes.

Zeolite for Under-Eye Bags

Fresh from the fridge, you can also use this mask wonderfully as an eye mask to reduce puffiness under your eyes. Apply the chilled mask thickly under your eyes and leave it on for a moment.

However, if you want to leave a mask on your face overnight, try the next recipe.

Overnight Face Mask with Zeolite

Warm one teaspoon of almond oil and stir in one teaspoon of honey until it has completely melted. Then add enough zeolite until a creamy consistency is achieved. Apply this to your face and leave it on overnight. In the morning, rinse it off and enjoy relaxed, uncreased facial skin and a wonderful glow. Almond oil contains vitamins A, B, D, and E, as well as minerals potassium, magnesium, and calcium. It moisturizes the skin and thus smooths it. The honey is anti-inflammatory and also contains antioxidants.

Quick & Easy Tip:

I didn't use sunscreen on my last Crete vacation. For the first two days. My skin wasn't yet used to the sun's rays, and especially to the strength of the sun in April. Actually, it was still so windy and cold... no excuses, no excuses. So it was red. My face skin. Then, in the evening, I mixed my moisturizer with zeolite. Just in the palm of my hand. I almost always have zeolite with me. And then I applied the mixture thickly and left it on overnight. So, overnight. I did it three days in a row, especially because after the first application, I also saw such a smoothing effect. The redness on the skin had disappeared and a soft and fresh glow emerged. Pretty perfect.

Overnight Mask for Age Spots on Hands with Zeolite

Mix a good dollop of aloe vera gel with 1 teaspoon of zeolite and spread the mixture on the back of your hands before going to bed, put on cotton gloves, and leave the mask on overnight. In the morning, you will have soft and well-moisturized hands, as aloe vera is unbeatable for moisturizing and soothing the skin. Even small cuts can benefit from the healing properties of aloe vera and zeolite. If you also want to lighten existing age spots or prevent them, add a few drops of vitamin C serum.

Also trust in the effect of zeolite. Some customers apply zeolite mixed with hand cream to the spots on the back of their hands (overnight and with gloves on) and firmly claim that the spots have lightened. YES.

Scalp Detox Mask with Zeolite

Many people suffer from rapidly greasy roots or dandruff. Or both at the same time. Our great scalp mask recipe, applied twice a week, could bring about regulation here.

Mix half a cup of brewed chamomile tea with 3 tablespoons of zeolite and 2 tablespoons of healing clay, spread it on the scalp, and leave it on for 20-30 minutes. To make the mask work deeper, you can wrap some cling film around your head and a towel over it. Sebum production is regulated, dandruff is gently loosened, and the scalp is soothed. Since zeolite also has an antifungal effect, this can have a positive effect on psoriasis and dandruff caused by fungi on the scalp. On top of that, the hair becomes more manageable and thus more voluminous.

If a scalp mask is too elaborate for you, simply dissolve some zeolite in a small pump spray bottle and spray the water-zeolite solution onto your scalp.

If you have dark hair: A natural hairdresser recommends mixing zeolite powder with cocoa, putting it in a powder shaker, and dusting it on quickly greasy hair roots. Sounds logical. Zeolite absorbs excess oil, and cocoa camouflages the white of the zeolite powder.

More Hair Growth from Zeolite?

Yes. The scalp also wants to be detoxified. It is possible that in some areas the skin needs an activation boost to let hair sprout again. This means detoxifying the scalp and stimulating self-regulation. For this, I put argan oil into a dropper bottle and add plenty of zeolite to it. This creates a zeolite-oil mixture. I drip this onto the hairline - where I know there used to be more hair - and gently massage it in.

I do this two days in a row before going to bed, before washing my hair.

Zeolite as a Natural Deodorant

Either you are 1. tired of conventional deodorants, or 2. they don't work for you as you want them to. Or 3. you want something natural, or 4. deodorants have side effects for you that you don't want, or 5. you don't want to spend the money, or 6. ... Then use the back of your hand, sprinkle a little zeolite powder on it, and gently rub it into your armpit. You'll feel pleasantly dry, and the many pores in the zeolite will immediately absorb every odor particle. You can be sure of that. I have tried and tested it often. One caution: white t-shirts are better for this. Zeolite is white. Very white.

Sweaty Hands

We don't know if Cleopatra ever had sweaty hands, but if she did, she would have done the following: always had a small jar of zeolite powder with her and rubbed some powder on her palms before important handshakes. The powder quickly dries the fine film of sweat. And the really great thing about it is that it also immediately adsorbs odor-forming particles.
