The Effect of Clinoptilolite Zeolite in Canine Tumor Diseases:

A Study from Zagreb

  • Mammary Gland Tumors – What the Study Shows
  • Skin and Mucosal Tumors
  • Prostate and Lung Tumors

  • Conclusion & Thanks to the Researchers

In veterinary medicine, the search for effective treatments for tumor diseases in dogs is of great importance. A promising study was conducted at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zagreb under the leadership of Prof. Dr. sc. Ljiljana Bedrica. The aim of this investigation was to evaluate the efficacy of clinoptilolite zeolite in various tumors in dogs. As part of the study, 51 dogs were thoroughly examined and then treated with clinoptilolite.

And all these studies have, among other things, led to clinoptilolite zeolite being approved as a feed optimization. Thanks for that!

Mammary Gland Tumors

The treatment of mammary gland tumors was investigated in 10 female dogs aged 6 to 14 years. Particularly remarkable results were achieved with adenocarcinomas: smaller tumors completely disappeared after 3 to 4 weeks of clinoptilolite intake, while larger tumors shrank to half their size after 4 weeks. Mixed mammary carcinomas showed no reduction after 3 months but remained stable. One year after the removal of these tumors, no relapse symptoms occurred.

Skin and Mucosal Tumors

Skin and mucosal tumors were treated in 10 dogs aged 6.5 to 13 years. All tumors disappeared after a certain period of clinoptilolite intake but reappeared after stopping the preparation. One week after resuming intake, the tumors receded again.

Prostate Tumors

The investigation of prostate tumors included 6 dogs. Already one week after the start of clinoptilolite treatment, the symptoms of the disease completely disappeared.

Lymphomas

The effect of clinoptilolite on lymphomas was investigated in 8 dogs. All dogs showed significant improvement after 3-4 days and behaved normally again after one week. After one month, their blood count had also normalized.

Lung Tumors

Lung tumors were diagnosed in 3 dogs. After one month of clinoptilolite treatment, the tumors reduced by half. Two dogs survived another year, while one dog, who took the preparation irregularly, died after three months.

Osteosarcomas

Osteosarcomas were found in 3 dogs. One dog died two months after diagnosis, while two dogs have been taking clinoptilolite for one and a half years and are still alive.

Various other tumors

In various other tumors, an improvement in the general condition was observed in all dogs.

Conclusion: Clinoptilolite Zeolite - Hope for Dogs

The results of this study are promising and suggest that clinoptilolite could be an effective supplement for the treatment of tumor diseases in dogs. While some types of tumors completely disappeared or significantly reduced, the general health of the dogs improved in all cases. These results offer hope and open new perspectives in veterinary oncology.

So: I found this article on Research Gate. For all who like to read original texts. Clinoptilolite zeolite was used, among other things, in 22 dogs suffering from various tumors.

Twenty-two dogs participated in the experiments. They belonged to various breeds and weighed between 3 and 42 kg. The animals were of both sexes and between 5 and 14 years old. Data for the 14 dogs in whom an improvement in the disease was observed are shown in Table 2 and can be found on pages 19-21 of the study. I have linked it for you.

I have also translated the ABSTRACT of the study for you:

  • "Natural silicate materials, including zeolite clinoptilolite, have shown diverse biological activities and have been successfully used as a vaccine adjuvant and for the treatment of diarrhea. We report a new use of finely micronized clinoptilolite as a potential adjuvant in cancer therapy. Treatment of mice and dogs with various tumor types resulted in an improvement in general health, prolongation of lifespan, and reduction in tumor size. Local application in canine skin cancer effectively reduced tumor formation and growth. Toxicology studies in mice and rats showed no adverse effects. In vitro studies showed that finely micronized clinoptilolite inhibits protein kinase B (c-Akt), induces the expression of tumor suppressor proteins p21WAF1/CIP1 and p27KIP1, and blocks cell growth in several cancer cell lines. These data suggest that clinoptilolite treatment could influence cancer growth by dampening survival signals and inducing tumor suppressor genes in treated cells."

I also have a study here by Prof. Dr. sc. Ljiljana Bedrica. It shows how healing zeolite is on the skin of dogs after burns and, above all, how a zeolite-optimized feed supports the healing process. All scientifically proven at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zagreb.

Conclusion: Thanks to the veterinarians and researchers

Our beloved animals are more than just companions – they are an expression of our love for life itself. The groundbreaking study on the efficacy of clinoptilolite in dog tumors, conducted at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zagreb, offers new hope to us and our four-legged friends.

Special thanks are due to the dedicated veterinarians and researchers who made this pioneering work possible. Their tireless dedication and deep understanding of the needs of our animals have led to these remarkable results.

We also always thank Mr. Timohir Lelas, who prolonged the tribomechanical grinding method for zeolite, what does prolonged mean, he created it. or developed prototypes to maturity. And Prof. Hecht, who patiently and clearly explained to us how zeolite boosts self-regulation in the bodies of our animals. Their insights and commitment have significantly contributed to clinoptilolite being recognized as a valuable supplement in the treatment of dog tumors.

This research is a ray of hope for all animal lovers and shows how science and love can go hand in hand to improve the lives of our beloved animals. Thanks to everyone involved, and to clinoptilolite zeolite – for the hope it gives us.
