STALLKRAFT bedding is used in livestock and fattening operations. By being spread directly into the stables to bind ammonia, the manure is transformed into a high-quality organic soil activator. This is also the case at Andreas Ehrenbrandtner's dairy farm.
Why did you choose STALLKRAFT bedding?
"When we still had tie-stall housing, we already tested STEINKRAFT bedding and were impressed by its absorbency. We liked the BigBag packaging and how easy it was to handle."
What is the biggest advantage for you?
"We are a dairy farm. Therefore, udder health is very important to me. Thanks to the bedding, the cubicles are dry, and the zeolite is anti-inflammatory and reduces germs. The cleaner and more hygienic it is, the lower the germ pressure on the udder. The healthier the animals are. And the somatic cell count of the milk is right."
Since no more animals need to be selected, the milking process is much faster, reports Ehrenbrandtner. "We can deliver every liter of milk. That clearly comes from the hygienic effect in the cubicles. The bedding combines very well with the straw, making the cubicles firmer and more compact. That is important to me with the calves."
