Behind almost all of these problems lies the same fundamental mechanism: a plant that is not optimally supplied. A plant that is not photosynthesizing intensely enough (the process by which plants produce energy and growth substances from light, water, and CO₂). A plant that expends energy on stress defense instead of what the grower actually wants: vigorous growth, dense flowers, a full terpene profile (the spectrum of all aroma compounds that make up the taste and scent of the harvest).

What HANFKRAFT is — and why it works differently than conventional fertilizers
HANFKRAFT consists exclusively of two natural minerals: tribo-mechanically activated calcium carbonate (lime) and tribo-mechanically activated zeolite — both processed to grain sizes below 10 micrometers (thousandths of a millimeter) using the Air2Air activation process.
This particle size is crucial. They are smaller than the stomata (leaf pores — the tiny openings on the leaf surface through which the plant absorbs CO₂ and releases water). This means: HANFKRAFT penetrates directly into the leaf tissue.
There, the calcium carbonate decomposes:
CaCO₃ → CaO + CO₂
The CO₂ immediately goes into photosynthesis. The calcium strengthens the cell walls. This is not an external nutrient that is supplied — it is a direct boost to the plant's own energy machine.
This also explains why HANFKRAFT does not affect the taste or aroma of the flowers. It does not change the plant's biochemistry from the outside — it activates what the plant itself can do. The full terpene profile is completely preserved.
The most common grower concerns — and how HANFKRAFT helps
Spider mites and other sucking pests
Spider mites are the nightmare of many growers — especially in the grow box, where temperature and humidity are ideal for them. They preferentially settle on plants with a low Brix value (the measure of nutrient density in the plant sap) — i.e., on weak, poorly nourished plants.
The zeolite in HANFKRAFT works against spider mites in two ways simultaneously. First, it forms a physical protective film on the leaf surface — the fine silicate particles look like tiny glass shards under the microscope and disturb the mites' tactile organs. Second, the finest particles interfere with the mites' respiratory organs and block their gills. This is not a poison — it is physics.
And here's a tip that few people know: The fine zeolite particles can be applied precisely with a soft brush to areas where pests prefer to gather — leaf axils, shoot tips, the undersides of leaves. A fine brush reaches places that a spray bottle does not cover evenly. Especially with early infestation, this targeted application is very effective.
Botrytis — Gray mold in the flower
Botrytis is the most dangerous fungal enemy of the cannabis plant — especially in late flowering, when the buds are dense and moist. It preferentially attacks stressed plants with thin cell walls.
Calcium directly strengthens the cell walls — this is the first line of defense against Botrytis. A plant that has been regularly treated with HANFKRAFT has denser, more stable cell walls, which offer the fungus fewer entry points. In addition, the zeolite film on the leaf surface prevents the formation of a moisture film that fungal spores need for germination.
Nutrient deficiency and yellowing
Many growers struggle with yellowing leaves — often despite regular fertilization. The reason is often not a lack of nutrients, but a lack of availability. Calcium is the "key" for all other minerals — without sufficient calcium, iron, manganese, and other trace elements cannot be absorbed into the plant cell.
HANFKRAFT delivers calcium directly via the leaf — regardless of the pH value of the substrate. This is particularly valuable when the pH value in the root zone is not optimal and soil absorption is limited.
Over-fertilization — the invisible danger
With HANFKRAFT, over-fertilization is not possible. The mineral only releases as much as the plant can absorb. It only provides healthy, balanced nutrients — no salt accumulation (buildup of harmful mineral salts) in the substrate, no nutrient lockout (blocking of nutrient absorption due to imbalances).
This is a fundamental difference to liquid mineral fertilizers, which can quickly lead to salt damage if incorrectly dosed.
pH stress in the substrate
Soil, coco, or hydroponics — HANFKRAFT works in all systems. And because it acts as a foliar fertilizer directly via the leaf, it is independent of the pH value in the root zone. During stress phases, when the pH value goes awry and root absorption suffers, HANFKRAFT still supplies the plant directly.
For all cultivation systems — soil, coco, hydroponics
This is one of the biggest advantages of HANFKRAFT. Whether grown in soil, hydroponics, or coco — HANFKRAFT is suitable for every system. Leaf absorption works independently of the substrate.
Especially in coco and hydroponics — where the substrate itself has little buffering effect and the plant is completely dependent on the supplied nutrients — direct foliar feeding is a valuable addition. It gives the plant a second source of nutrients that is independent of the root system.
The results — what has been documented in practice
The results from independent field trials with activated calcite and zeolite as foliar fertilizer — conducted by UMID Colombia S.A.S. in Colombia — show for cannabis and related crops:
Stronger growth in all vegetation phases. Earlier and more uniform flowering. Stronger stems that better support the weight of dense buds. Significantly higher resistance to stress events.
Based on these field trials and the physiological mode of action of calcite and zeolite, HANFKRAFT documents a yield increase of over 50 percent in cannabis plants — due to stronger plants and denser flowering.
How HANFKRAFT is applied
As a foliar spray — the main application:
HANFKRAFT is dissolved in water and sprayed as a fine mist on the leaves — preferably early in the morning or late in the evening when the stomata are open. Never in the midday heat or directly under strong artificial light.
First application at the 2-3 leaf stage: 5g per 1 liter of water. From the second application every 10-14 days: 20-30g per 1 liter of water. 650g of HANFKRAFT is sufficient for at least 200 plants with 3 applications.
As a watering additive: HANFKRAFT can also be added to the watering water — as an additional mineral source for the substrate. The dosage remains the same.
With a brush — the secret tip for targeted application: The fine zeolite particles can be applied directly with a soft brush to vulnerable areas — leaf axils (the point where the leaf meets the stem), shoot tips, undersides of leaves, where spider mites preferentially gather.
