Dosage of Zeolith Organic Black Cumin Powder for the prevention of eczema in all horses:
In the first 4 weeks, to build up a depot: approx. 100g per day
Subsequently, continue feeding approx. 50g per day.
Thus, two 4kg buckets are sufficient for approx. 4 months for 1 horse.
1 daily ration costs 0.80 Euro.
- Mix 100g to 150g/day or max. 1.6% (16g/kg) into the total ration of complete feed. Provide sufficient drinking water.

🌿 What is black cumin?
Black cumin (Nigella sativa) is an ancient cultivated plant that was highly valued by the ancient Egyptians. There, it was considered a panacea and universal remedy. It was used as a spice, in food and beverages, and also as a moth and insect repellent. In Europe, too, black cumin, with its valuable ingredients, enjoyed a high reputation for many centuries – as true black cumin, Roman caraway, black coriander, or simply as black caraway. Until it fell into obscurity.
In the 1990s, the effectiveness of black cumin returned to the spotlight. By chance, actually. And it was a horse – according to this story. He was supposed to be given cortisone, which the owners refused. A naturopath was said to have been nearby. He received a tip from a doctor friend in Egypt to treat with black cumin seeds. Thus, its immunoregulatory properties brought it into the scientific spotlight, and many studies were conducted. Black cumin is said to stabilize the immune system and provide support for skin diseases, respiratory tract disorders, allergies, asthma, and infections.
